Competitors plate # 58 from the Dissen Bad-Rothenfelde Rallye. Painted aluminum with embossed edge. Sponsored by the Motorsportclub Dissen and sanctioned by ADAC. Undated but probably from the 1960s. 448MM (~ 17 5/8”) X 190MM (~ 7 3/4”) Condition Near Mint.

The NorisRing opened in 1947, quite shortly after the end of WWII. Pedro Rodriguez died there in 1971 when his Ferrari crashed, burst into flames and burned to the ground. This drivers medalion dates from 1952 and shows the racy design of a motorcycle at speed being persued by a Formula car. It includes the flags of the 9 countries invited. The crest of the Motorsports Club of Nurnberg (ADAC) added in the early style. 82MM (~ 3 3/16") in diameter. condition is Excellent to Near mint. (A second piece is available that has been drilled for mounting)

Winterfahrt Hessen 1952. *Stunning* German eagle on this oversize piece. 99MM (~ 3 7/8") top to bottom. Condition is Excellent to Near mint. E.F Wiedmann makers mark. Mounting holes appear to have been expertly added.

10th Ostee North Sea Rally. The coastal town of Keil was the starting point for this event. Pretty seashore scene with a seagull. ADAC and a local crest added in the early style. 100MM (~ 4") top to bottom. Near mint condition. F.Hoffstaeter makers mark.

Jubilaeums Zielfahrt ("Anniversary Goal Drive") of the Automobile and Touring Club of Saar 1959. Interesting design using black, a color not often seen in German badge work. 92MM (~ 3 5/8") top to bottom. Very good to Excellent condition. The mottling seen in the scan is from a clear finish that has faded. This piece does not appear to have ever been mounted but is showing a little "patina".

Mitternachtsfahrt ("Midnight Drive") old Heidelberg May 1959. Competive auto events in the middle of the night?! Only in "Old" Heidelberg! Rare black background and the stars really set this piece off. Miniature crests of the Heidelberger Automobil club (ADAC) and the Automobil Club Kurpfalz von Heidelberger (AvD) added in the early style. 100MM (~ 3 15/16") in diameter. This one appears to have never been mounted so I'm at a loss to explain the chip at the lower mount hole. Were it not for that, i'd give this piece a solid Excellent to Near mint. C.Poellath makers mark.
