Jubilaeums Zielfahrt ("Anniversary Goal Drive") of the Automobile and Touring Club of Saar 1959. Interesting design using black, a color not often seen in German badge work. 92MM (~ 3 5/8") top to bottom. Very good to Excellent condition. The mottling seen in the scan is from a clear finish that has faded. This piece does not appear to have ever been mounted but is showing a little "patina".

Mitternachtsfahrt ("Midnight Drive") old Heidelberg May 1959. Competive auto events in the middle of the night?! Only in "Old" Heidelberg! Rare black background and the stars really set this piece off. Miniature crests of the Heidelberger Automobil club (ADAC) and the Automobil Club Kurpfalz von Heidelberger (AvD) added in the early style. 100MM (~ 3 15/16") in diameter. This one appears to have never been mounted so I'm at a loss to explain the chip at the lower mount hole. Were it not for that, i'd give this piece a solid Excellent to Near mint. C.Poellath makers mark.

The NorisRing opened in 1947, quite shortly after the end of WWII. Pedro Rodriguez died there in 1971 when his Ferrari crashed, burst into flames and burned to the ground. This drivers medalion dates from 1952 and shows the racy design of a motorcycle at speed being persued by a Formula car. It includes the flags of the 9 countries invited. The crest of the Motorsports Club of Nurnberg (ADAC) added in the early style. 82MM (~ 3 3/16") in diameter. condition is Excellent to Near mint. (A second piece is available that has been drilled for mounting)

This one is blank and could be left that way or filled in as you see fit. [Who's to say whatever you put there isn't true? ;-) ] Undated, but believed to be from the 1970s. 90MM (~ 3 1/2") in length. Near mint condition.

Exceedingly RARE Porsche International Treffen badge from 1958. This was only the fourth International treffen the factory sponsored and dates from 11-12 Oktober. The event was held in Merano, Italy the same city that hosted the prior 3 years. 86MM (~ 3 3/8") in diameter. Never mounted, but showing minor signs of handling, I'll rate this as a STRONG excellent, but could easily be called Near mint. E.F. Weidmann maker mark.
