Internationale Automobil Turnier Bad Homburg 1959

Competitors badge from the International Automobile Tournament of Bad Homburg of  1959. Compare this one to the Special participants badge from this event which appears on this site and reads FUR MITARBEIT in the banner across the top. This example features the wreath of a competitor in the lower border. (In this case the 3rd place finisher) AVD was the sanctioning body and the Frankfurt Automobil Club was the Sponsor. 98MM (~ 3 15/16") X 80MM (~ 3 1/8"). Condition is Near Mint with moderate tarnishing. C. Poellath makers mark.
