ADAC Sternfahrt / Internationale Automobil Ausstellung Frankfurt 1951

Competitive auto events were a little slow to get started after WWII. This is one of the earliest pieces i have seen in the post war era. ADAC Sternfahrt ("Star Rallye") and International Automobile Exhibition Frankfurt 1951. Ever hear of a little event called the Frankfurt Auto Show ? This piece commemorates the first year the event was actually held in Frankfurt! ADAC crest added in the early style. 80MM (~ 3 1/8") top to bottom. Condition is excellent. E.F. Weidmann makers mark.
